AMELIA SIDERS

I’m Amelia, I’m 21, and I’ve been a stylist for about 2 and a half years now. I’m located in Harrisburg, PA, at RISE Hair Studio.

I always knew I wanted to be a part of the hair industry. I grew up watching my mom and everyone else at her salon and knew this was what I wanted to do. I used to sit at home and try new techniques of styles on my mannequin when I was twelve, looking up YouTube tutorials and trying anything new I could find. When I got to high school, a lot of people told me that I wouldn’t make any money as a hairstylist, and maybe I should try to pursue a different path. I completed a semester at a community college before dropping out and enrolling in cosmetology school😅 That was the best choice I have ever made. I am so happy to be in this industry.

I’m a cat mom to the sweetest boy and girl, Dipper and Mabel🐈‍⬛ I love spending free time with my friends and family or crocheting whenever I have free time 🧶
